Tiny House Trailers

This series of trailers are designed and built from the ground up as a foundation for a tiny house. Designed for ease of building with angle iron and c-channel construction. This construction allows for complete paint protection. Available from 16 to 40 feet long with other lengths built to order and have a 9,990-21,000 lbs GVW rating or higher if needed.

Our standard trailers are 7′ 10-1/2″ wide which allows for your siding to cover the outside edge of our trailer and still allows 3″ roof overhang to remain at DOT max width of 8′ 6″.  We also offer wider trailers of 10′, 11′, or 12′ (Wide load permits may be required to move them)  We can build you any custom size trailer you need.

We provide wiring for the upper running lights, which makes it easy to stay DOT compliant as part of our standard design.

Depending on the weight rating of the trailer, we use 3″x 2″ or 2″x 2″ angle iron cross members spaced 16″ on center so you can lay subfloor right to our frame with no floor framing needed.

All trailers are primed and painted with an industrial grade Sherwin Williams oil based enamel.

As a Victron Energy distributor, we can provide off-grid electrical systems which can be sized to your needs, as well as optional companion solar trailers to accompany (and power) your tiny house trailer. If you prefer to DIY your system, we can help you there too, with providing solar equipment.

We are now also proud to announce that we are a Nature’s Head distributor and can provide composting toilets (with coco coir and all of the accessories) to go with your tiny house.

From the foundation to the finishing touches, Granite State Trailers has you covered!
